Esk Market 25/10/09

We had a huge weekend the biggest ever! Friday at Exeter School fair we all had a great time although the ground Colin picked wasn't as level as it should have been so we had to pull the little hovercraft a fair bit. We estimate, Colin walked around the track for 5km. But it was enjoyed by all who had a ride.
Then on Saturday we went to the Hagley Farm school fair another great day was had by all. These School fairs are lots of fun.
Then lastly we went to the Esk Market which was almost as busy as the fairs and great fun.
But Colin wants another weekend off to get over this one. Roll on Ulverstone Show!!!

Deloraine Market 3/10/09

This young guy started off real good but then seemed the find all the lumpy bits where the hovercraft gets stuck. Maybe next time he drives it we'll have found some smoother ground to set it up on.

Deloraine market 3/10/09

First big brother showed how it was done
Then not to be out done the younger bro has a go.

Then blow me down if it didn't happen again
First big brother has a go

Then his brave little brother has a go. And he is brave
most chaps his age want to get off as soon as the engine starts up
But not this young guy he lasted the full ride even the donut!!
He had a geart time, didn't faze him one bit
So there you have the short and tall of todays story

esk Market 20/09/2009

Big sis is sent in to test the water! Little sis is standing on the sidelines telling her to "hurry up - my turn!"

A right royal wave to mum as this lass shows her sister how it is all done.

When her feet can reach the deck, she will be a top hovercraft pilot!

It took a while to warm up, and the focus was intense for the first few laps.
The next lap, there is time for a cheeky grin to family.

Laid back and casual!

Can it go faster Mister?

Check out the video in the next post!

Cool!

All eyes on the track!

Well, when the hairnet stays up that is!

Dad gave this lass a ride a few weeks ago. Today, Pop got dragged out to the market and all was revealed when he was informed about the hovercraft! We are thinking she will be lining up for frequent flyer points before long!

Our last two riders of the day are Thumbster fans!

Colin has had his suspicions for a looonnnngggggg time that Hovercraft are better than motorbikes (he should know cos he has the scars).
CONFIRMED!!!!! These guys reckon "Way cool! I want one!"

4 seasons in one day and enough wind to blow your sox off - but it is Spring and good weather is coming!?!

Esk Market 13/09/09

Sunshine, happy pilots and aching bones - what more could we ask for?!?!
This young lady has her little brother to thank for her ride!! What a great guy! He won a free ride for his investment, so we hope to see him soon!!
This lass was delighted to find that age was no barrier!

This young lady was keen to take on her big brother!
He did pretty well too.
But big sis had to show the way.
This lad had all the moves...And was so pleased with his ride, he came back for a 2nd turn!
That's all the thanks we could ask for mate!
His sis also enjoyed the ride enough to come back again!

Happy riders make happy days! Til next week, have fun!
